ANYWAY.

Contrary to popular belief, I'm actually still alive! xDD fjdsl; Ughhh I'm so sorry about the lack of updating... I'm not doing a lot of drawing lately, so I haven't been checking up on dA as much.

For the past couple of weeks I've been doing a whoooole lot of different stuff! My cosplay group and I are preparing for a skit that we plan to do at AFest in the fall. If you happen to live in Texas and are planning on attending the convention, please stop by and see us! We'd love to see you! Plus, there's a bunch of other great groups that show up too. It's going to be a load of fun! =]

Other than that, my life has been devoted to YouTube and a book called Post Captain. In a snap decision a few weeks ago, I decided to try to get into English AP. I contacted my teacher, and, to my complete surprise, within a few days he answered and said that he got in touch with the counselor and the head of the English department- both approved of the change! Whooo! Unfortunately, now I have to read 4 books instead of just 2, but eh... xDD I'll manage.
I don't mind Post Captain; it's alright. It's just the assignment that goes with it.
As we read the book, we have to do this journal composition... thing. There's 3 sections: a reading journal, a dialectical journal, and an essay.
In the reading journal, we have to write descriptions of every character introduced and summarize chapters as we complete them. In the dialectical journal, we have to write quotes from the book that we found interesting (or... that's what I do at least, haha) and comment on them. In the essay portion... well.. that's pretty much self explanatory- we were given a prompt and we have to write all of our drafts and then the final copy back there.
It's a lottt of work, considering that I am as SLOW AS A TURTLE when I read, so sometimes it can take up to about 2 hours for a chapter (Patrick O'Brian likes to make chapters 50-60 pages long... AWESOME).

BUTTTT... enough about that boring journal stuff fjkfl;d.

YOUTUUUUBE! YESSSS! I love it. xDD I'm getting involved in several series on there, which I'm so excited about! I'm getting more and more hooked on voice acting every day; I really enjoy figuring out how to change my voice and reach different pitches! Currently I'm trying to work on making each voice more distinct. Sure, I can talk and talk all day in my normal voice, but that's boooriiiing! I want to be able to talk differently and hold that voice without slipping back into my normal range. It's proving to be a bit of a challenge, but it's super fun at the same time!
And also, the people on YouTube are just super sweet! I feel very blessed to be able to work with such patient and encouraging people. You guys rock!

Hmmm... what else... oh! I start Vacation Bible School tomorrow. xDD HURRAH! My mom decided against leading the Bible Exploration group for this year, so I volunteered to be a Crew Leader. I'm in charge of 10 kids, oh goodness. Thankfully they're all 3rd to 5th graders.. @w@; I don't think I could handle little 1st and 2nd graders... *shudders*
Or KINDERGARTENERS!?
Yeah.
That'd be a disaster waiting to happen.
